I believe that Q was known not only to Matthew and Luke but also to Clement of Rome, Ignatius, the Didachist, Justin Martyr, and 2 Clement. I also believe that Q is what Clement of Alexandria, Origen, Eusebius, Epiphanius, and Jerome referred to as the Gospel according to the Hebrews. The following table lists passages that I think were taken from Q. It also appears that Q was designed around a large concentric outline, as shown in the enumeration of the passages. Many have argued before that the parables in Luke's travel narrative are arranged concentrically, but this outline extends beyond the travel narrative (if only non-Markan passages are considered) and includes more than the parables. For example, Luke 13:10-25 and Luke 14:1-35 not only have parallel parables but also have Jesus healing on the Sabbath (a theme not found anywhere else in Luke's non-Markan material).
